The Chapel and Cultural Center (C+CC) is an important piece of architecture that represents the best work of the 1960s. Because of this, a careful curatorial approach should be used for its future treatment and repair, as would be used for an important historic building. As a first step the C+CC is working toward a nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. Although less than fifty years old the C+CC is of outstanding architectural significance and appears to meet the criteria for listing. Priority work includes but is not limited to: masonry restoration, skylight and window repairs, interior storm windows, door restoration and replacement, flashing repair and replacement, roofing repairs, site work and drainage, adding interior storm windows and gutter replacement.
