Empire Corridor West High Speed Rail Improvements

Project Recipient: NYS Department of Transportation

Funds will be used to improve grade crossing safety and to facilitate high speed rail in Monroe County along the Empire West Corridor at mile post 376.40, 377.40, 377.95, 378.60, 379.16, and 380.85.  Work will include reconfiguration to enhance safety, including improvements such as upgrades to existing warning devices and the installation of channelization devices.  This effort would be coordinated by NYSDOT with CSX and Amtrak.
