The River and Estuary Observatory Network (REON) will be a distributed network of sensors, robotics and communication technology in the Hudson (Upper Hudson), Mohawk and St. Lawrence Rivers that will provide continuous, real-time data for science, public health and security, as well as serving as the cornerstone for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills and teacher training programs throughout the state.
