As your voice in Congress, I have strongly supported programs and efforts designed to foster growth in the small business sector. The 20th Congressional District has many resources available to the small business community including private lenders, small business loan programs, government resources and local chambers of commerce. It is important that we foster partnerships consisting of federal, state and local resources to assist small business owners in our community.
Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) Resource List
Offices of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) are advocacy and advisory offices within federal departments and agencies, responsible for promoting the use of small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, veteranowned, service-disabled veteran-owned, and HUBZone small businesses within the department or agency’s acquisition process. OSDBUs advise on all matters related to small business and collaborate with leadership to maximize opportunities for small businesses in acquisitions.
