Featured Funding Opportunities and Grant Assistance:

The FY 2016 Assistance to Firefighters (AFG) grants application period is now open and will close on Friday, November 18, at 5:00 PM EST. Begin preparing your application now by reviewing the Notice of Funding Opportunity and the technical assistance tools that are available. It is important to read the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) thoroughly as it contains the key programmatic updates and application requirements for all eligible applicants. The FY 2017 Brownfields Assessment and Cleanup grants application period is now open and will close on Tuesday, December 20. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provides grants to assess and clean up brownfield sites. EPA’s Brownfields Program provides funds to empower states, communities, tribes, and nonprofits to prevent, inventory, assess, clean up, and reuse brownfield sites.

In honor of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, SBA will be conducting a series of webinars as well as offering an online self-paced training exercise entitled Cybersecurity for Small Businesses.
