This $15,000,000 request will complete the NY5 Bus Rapid Transit project, including stations, roadwork, and pilot high-capacity vehicles. Key service characteristics of the NY5 BRT on this 17-mile corridor include limited stop operation at 20 (twenty) stations, special branding, priority for transit at traffic signals, and short, dedicated bus lanes at two critical intersections.
