NIH Offers Assistance to Active Phase I HHS SBIR and STTR Awardees through the Niche Assessment Program 2017-2018 - Designed to help small businesses strategically position their technology in the marketplace, Niche provides an in-depth report on potential applications of participants’ technology. All active HHS (NIH, CDC, FDA) SBIR/STTR Phase I awardees and Phase I Fast-Track awardees (by grant or contract) are eligible to apply. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Each participant receives an in-depth report of Foresight's findings. The small business can often use this information in their commercialization plan, which is part of their Phase II SBIR/STTR application. Click here for more information and to register.

 

19th Annual HHS SBIR/STTR Conference: In the Heartland of BioHealth Innovation in Milwaukee, WI on November 7–9, 2017. This annual conference is relevant to a diverse audience, including biomedical entrepreneurs, principal investigators, grants and contracts administrators, and industry partners and investors. HHS is also committed to reaching and collaborating with Woman-Owned and Socially Disadvantaged Business owners, and the professional organizations that support them.
