The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, which operates Grants.gov, recently launched Simpler.Grants.gov to modernize the Grants.gov experience and make it easier to find, share, and apply for grants. HHS invites users of Grants.gov to sign up to participate in Simpler.Grants.gov research. By signing up, you may be invited to participate in user research studies such as compensated usability testing, surveys, and feedback sessions aimed at improving the Grants.gov experience. Featured Funding OpportunitiesBJA FY25 Improving Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Outcomes for Adults in ReentryThis funding opportunity seeks to enhance corrections and community supervision systems and community-based providers’ capacity to address the substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and recovery support needs of people during incarceration and upon reentry. This competitive reimbursement grant program contributes to New York State’s goal to plant 25 million trees by 2033, which will mitigate climate change impacts like extreme heat.CoRe grant applications are due by Wednesday March 12, 2025 at 2PM ET2025 Renew America's Schools PrizeThe U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is now accepting submissions for the 2025 Renew America’s Schools Prize, a $90 million investment in K-12 public schools and school facilities across the country. This three-phase opportunity will help districts build capacity, perform energy audits, and plan/implement energy improvement projects across a portfolio of school facilities.
