I'm writing today to notify you that the Department of Homeland Security is now accepting applications for the Fiscal Year 2013 Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program.  If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, please click the above link or forward this message to a friend.

Please note, the application period for the FY2013 AFG Program will close on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 5:00 PM ET.

The primary goal of the AFG program is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical service organizations. If you intend to apply for an AFG grant and would like to obtain a letter of support from me on behalf of your application, please contact my Albany District Office at (518) 465-0700 and my staff will be happy to assist you.
