Congressman Paul Tonko will speak at a news conference this morning being led by Rep. Peter Welch (D-Vt.) and Rep. Lois Capps (D-Calif.). They will call on BP to suspend dividend payments and marketing campaigns until the company halts the flow of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and cleans up the spill.

Welch, Capps, Tonko  and 40 other members of Congress on Wednesday wrote BP CEO Tony Hayward calling on the company to put progress before profits and PR.
