CONGRESSMAN TONKO: CUTS TO COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAMS WILL BE DEVASTATING

Congressman Paul Tonko will attend a ribbon cutting Wednesday, February 23rd, at 10am to open a new classroom at the Schenectady Community Action Program (SCAP), which will be used to train local residents living in poverty for professions in the health care field.

Congressman Paul Tonko will attend a ribbon cutting Wednesday, February 23rd, at 10am to open a new classroom at the Schenectady Community Action Program (SCAP), which will be used to train local residents living in poverty for professions in the health care field.

Congressman Tonko will address proposed federal budget cuts that will devastate programs delivered by local community action agencies that help prevent homelessness, supply emergency food and heating assistance, provide job training, and early childhood education programs.
