TONKO, U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE TO PRESENT LOCAL COMPANY WITH EXPORT AWARD

Congressman Paul Tonko will join federal and state officials today to present AWS Truepower with the U.S. Department of Commerce's Export Achievement Award for the company's success in the international marketplace.
Congressman Paul Tonko will join federal and state officials today to present AWS Truepower with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Achievement Award for the company’s success in the international marketplace. The presentation will take place this afternoon (Thursday, June 9) from 130pm to 230pm at AWS Truepower Headquarters, 463 New Karner Road in Albany. AWS Truepower is the first local company to be honored with this prestigious award, and only the second in all of New York State. The Export Achievement Certificate was created in 2001 to recognize small and medium-sized businesses that have successfully entered the international marketplace for the first time, or that have successfully entered a new market.
