Congressman Paul Tonko released the following statement regarding FEMA's decision to declare Montgomery and Saratoga Counties eligible for Individual Assistance:
Congressman Paul Tonko released the following statement regarding FEMA’s decision to declare Montgomery and Saratoga Counties eligible for Individual Assistance: “After calling for Montgomery and Saratoga Counties to be granted Individual Assistance yesterday, I am happy FEMA made a timely decision to enable individuals and households in these counties to receive the help they need. I also appreciate Governor Cuomo’s swift action in submitting these counties to FEMA for assistance. “I am continuing to call on FEMA to declare Schenectady County as eligible for Public Assistance. As of today, the following counties are eligible for FEMA’s Individual Assistance: Albany, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady and Schoharie Counties. FEMA’s Public Assistance is available for: Albany, Montgomery, Rensselaer and Schoharie Counties. # # # |
