Congressman Paul Tonko will tour Mohawk Cabinet Company’s manufacturing facility in Gloversville on Tuesday, January 3 at 11 A.M. The tour, which will be lead by company President Jim Law, is part of Congressman Tonko’s year-long effort to highlight local manufacturers and call for legislation in Washington that will help grow the manufacturing sector and create jobs.

Mohawk Cabinet manufactures high-end freezers for the ice cream industry. The company’s customer list includes Stewart’s, Nestle, and Nice N Easy, among others.

Mohawk Cabinet, which currently has seven employees, is working on expansion plans and expects to double its workforce in the next year and grow to nearly 50 employees by 2014.
