Tonko (D-NY) released the following statement today after being officially inducted as a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC): “Throughout my time in Congress, I have worked to enact bold and thoughtful progressive policies—from tackling our climate crisis and centering environmental justice concerns to addressing our nation’s mental health and overdose epidemics while working towards healthcare for all.
