Congressman Paul Tonko will hold a community forum Wednesday, August 7 at the Schenectady County Public Library Central Branch. Tonko will deliver brief opening remarks about job creation and economic development, and answer direct questions from constituents in attendance. The event Wednesday will be Tonko’s fifth town hall meeting this year.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to provide these open forums and speak directly with my friends and neighbors in the Capital Region so frequently,” said Tonko. “In communities like Schenectady, Watervliet, Amsterdam and many others, there are many questions about the effects of sequestration, relief from severe weather events, and the passage of a farm bill – just to name a few. I look forward to meeting with those in attendance, answering questions, and taking ideas back to Washington.”
