WASHINGTON, DC—Congressman Paul D. Tonko today announced that his office has opened the application for the Fiscal Year 2024 Community Project Funding (CPF) requests.

The deadline for submitting project requests is 6:00PM on Friday, March 17, 2023. The application form, funding availability, and instructions on how to submit requests can all be found on the Congressman’s website HERE.

“For the past few years, I’ve been honored to open up the Community Project Funding process through which worthy local projects can apply for federal funding to support our communities and propel our region’s economic growth,” Congressman Tonko said. “It is my pleasure to once again announce that Capital Region organizations and local governments can apply for this federal funding. Over the coming weeks, my staff and I will work around the clock to review eligible projects and advance the proposals that best match the criteria and—most importantly—that will deliver the most significant benefit to our region. I’m excited to learn more about the innovative projects in our district, and I encourage all those interested to apply as soon as possible!”

Under the FY2024 application process, the limit on the number of projects each member can request is 15. Community Project Funding is only eligible to local and state governments and non-profit organizations. For-profit entities are not eligible.

Prospective applicants can review office guidance and see if they are eligible HERE.
