WASHINGTON, DC — Congressman Paul D. Tonko released a statement today marking the guilty verdict in the trial of Nauman Hussain, who was convicted on 20 counts of second-degree manslaughter for his role in the devastating Schoharie limo crash that took the lives of 20, many of whom lived in Tonko’s hometown of Amsterdam: “These families and our communities have endured tremendous loss. Today’s verdict marks the beginnings of justice being served. While nothing can replace these precious lives lost, I hope this decision brings a measure of peace to all their loved ones.”
