Past Community Project Funding Awards

For the past several years, Congressman Tonko has participated in the Community Project Funding (CPF) process — a unique opportunity whereby each member of Congress may request direct federal support for a number of worthy local initiatives. Since 2021, Congressman Tonko has worked tirelessly to secure federal dollars for each of the projects he has selected, and he has been successful in delivering investments for every initiative he has submitted to the House Committee on Appropriations.

Overall, Congressman Tonko has secured a total of $37,969,394 for a diverse group of 39 Capital Region projects as part of the Fiscal Year 2024, Fiscal Year 2023, and Fiscal Year 2022 federal budgets.
