Hundreds of millions of people visit our national parks every year. Amidst recent attacks to our history and cuts to cultural resources, I joined colleagues and advocates at the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) to renew our push to protect and support our parks as places of connection, learning, and truth.

I’m honored to be joined by Lauren DesRosiers as my State of the Union guest. She's head of Albany Law School’s Immigration Law Clinic in my district and is doing the vital work of informing our communities of their rights in the face of this chaotic, unlawful, and brutal crackdown by ICE.

ICE needs to be abolished.
February 5, 2026
U.S. citizens killed in the street. Neighbors shoved into cars by masked agents without due process. Children arrested in their homes and on their way to school. ICE’s brutal crackdown on our communities needs to end.

Not one cent to fund ICE

Working families need real solutions from Congress on lowering costs
November 21, 2025

Making sure weatherization works for everyone
November 19, 2025
Today, November 19, 2025, my bill, H.R. 1355, the Weatherization Enhancement and Readiness Act was passed out of the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Energy. This bipartisan bill invests in home weatherization efforts to save low-income families hundreds of dollars on their energy bills while making homes safer, healthier, and more energy efficient. I’ll continue pushing to enact this bill and make certain that weatherization works for all in our communities.
